Taking in the sights

With Nathan at work and the kids back in school on Thursday, the rest of us decided to take in some of the Abu Dhabi sights.

This was the first time their kids came to the Middle East, and even Søren had never been to a mosque, so that's where we started - Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

After the mosque it was time for some coffee, but of course not just any coffee - but the Emirates Palace signature Gold Cappuccino.

I got treated to one of their Ice Gold camel milk ice creams, also with gold of course! Yum!

Konrad was in luck spotting cool cars outside the Emirates Palace, both a Rolls Royce, a Ferrari, a Lamborghini Aventador and a Masserati.

Lastly we went to the Louvre Abu Dhabi. I was really impressed by the kids who didn't complain at all all day, but took most of it in, asked many questions and actually seemed to enjoy all the different experiences of the day. Another good day!
