The Date Market
After Qasr Al Hosn and before we had to pick up the kids from school, we had time for just one more quick stop. We decided to go and check out the Date Market down by Mina Port. Believe it or not, but I hadn't yet been there!!
I know, almost three years as a Tour Guide, but I have just never had a tour or a guest who has wanted to go... so finally I got a chance this day to experience it.
They let you try any dates you want. They are so many kinds, originating from different places and also being more or less sweet, or more or less dry. Carin and Giuseppe bought a few bags of different dates to bring back home, both for themselves and as gifts.
